This is a piece for a story for the paper I work at. The (true) story is basically about a poor family living in their car and using candles to stay warm. They were parked in a neighbors barn and to make a long story short the people of the small town pulled together and helped them out with food, shelter and toys for the children as it was Christmas. I wasn't able to work on the project for more then about 4-5 hours due to deadlines, so its not as detailed as I would have liked, but I was pretty happy with it. Its meant to remind you of the manager scene and the true meaning of Christmas and all that stuff. Its also lighter then I would have wanted due to the gain on our press. Anyway, Happy Holidays, hope you like it!

Candles!! Sod that, grab those logs dry em off, and get a big fire roaring!! and sell the car for food and toys..... Instead of bludging of everyone else for gifts...........Merry christmas!!

Nice painting thou. I would say the candles are abit to bright and solid, would be good if the candles where lower, to illuminate their freazing faces, It would Be good to see the figures more.

Hey thanks! I totally agree about the candles, but the editor asked them to be more candle looking.
