Its been liek two months since ive created anything. This is so unusaul because my life has always been art. Now all i care about is photography. It pisses me off that i dont draw but i just cant for some reason. I tried to draw something today and it looked like shit.
Is it possible to just lose interst in something that has governed your whole life? I mean, it always been my talent and what difined me. Now i just dont really care.

Sketch from your photos man!!! Perfect inspiration. Something of the subject matter of the photos must appeal to your eye?

Photography can be a beautiful art form, as can drawing. Maybe your whole life has simply revolved around art, and it was confined in the world of drawing up until now.

keep cool, and enjoy the photography stuff...if you like it don't think about the missing drawing motivation...
Do what you want to do...sometimes you improve much more when returning to your drawing activities after a while than drawing all the way without motivation...because then you are hungry and you see your art in a different way...

If there's one thing I've learned after a lifetime of being an artist, it's that you can never put limits like that on your creativity. By the time I was a senior in college (getting my Fine Arts degree), I HATED painting with a passion. In fact, I petitioned the school to let me finish my course work in ways that wouldn't involve studio painting (a mural project one semester and organizing a gallery exhibit another semester).
I would probably feel pretty bad about that, except that at the same time, I was playing in a band just about every night and exploring crafts like bookbinding and paper-making.
The point is, as long as you are still creating something, then there's no reason to feel bad about not drawing or not playing music or not writing or whatever it is you feel bad about at a given moment. It's the ACT of creating that's important, not really the results.
