Many workshop goers had the pleasure of making friends with Monster, he was happy as a clam meeting everyone, and goose-ing the pretty models ;)
After 3 long days he finally got tuckered out at the Atelier, while the rest of us had wine and cheese.... and more wine...

Thank You everyone, we had a blast!

Haha!! I wish I stuck around a little bit longer to see that. He really was a great dog. I actually felt kinda honored when he went up and sniffed me out..... I should maybe not have said that. So yeah, the setup at the Atelier is looking great by the way. Great job you guys. :)

Sniffed you out did he Mike?
I barely noticed Monster getting so tired as i was getting rather melted myself by that point. I am seriously out of practice for that type of thing.
The atelier space does look awesome, and so was the workshop.

Thanks! He woke me this morning with that big nose of his. I am sure if he could talk he would have this to say:
"anyone want to pet me....wait...is it time to eat yet?...uhhhhh...hey can I sniff your legs?...hmmmm....whats in the garbage?....oh man...just pencil shavings."

*jess turns head*
*dog begins humping*
"oh god its humping me" - davi
*steph and texahol point and laugh at me*
*jess quickly removes happy dog away from davi body*

Bwahahaha, I love dogs and monster was one of the best behaved ones I've ever seen in person.
Davi said you guys tried to get him to be a guard dog but he looks like a lover not a fighter.

Monster was the greatest. He was so laid back the whole time. Anytime I was feeling a little overwhelmed or just needed to chill out, I just went to find Monster and hung with him for a few minutes. I love that guy! I'm totally jealous of his Massive Black hoodie.

Monster is definitely one of the coolest dogs ever. And I have to agree that the Massive Black hoodie is a perfect touch, pure badassness. :)

Hhahaha...I love that dog. He kept tapping me on the shoulder the first night, so I would turn around and pet him. Lol...seeing him crash that last night at the studio was pretty much what I felt like doing, so I could totally understand Monster's frame of mind. :)

Yes, Monster was purchased from a trainer who trains Police dogs, Narcotic Detecting dogs, Explosive Detecting dogs, personal protection dogs, area protection dogs, etc...
Monster was supposed to protect the then budding Massive Black, aka Jason's backyard studio. But if you read this page on the trainer's website you'll see why Monster never completed his training.
http://www.worldwidecanine.com/areadogs_wwc.htm
Area protection dogs are trained to be paranoid, trusting only one person (Jason), and attacking all intruders (anyone who's not Jason). But Jason took Monster to coffee shops everyday as a pup, and he LOVED being around people, he wanted nothing to do with the attack training, he just wanted petting! Once Monster's personality became apparent, even the trainer recomended against the attack training because it would ruin Monster's natural loving temperment. :)
And if you were wondering why Monster's commands are in Czech, it's because Monster is Czech. The trainer goes to Europe to hand pick the dogs, and flies them back into the US. "All dogs trained and purveyed by Worldwide Canine are selectively bred, individually tested, imported canines from the best working dog lines in the world." Snazzy eh?

Aww man, looks like I left too early. Ehh, I shouldn't complain, I woke up at 5am the next day for my flight and STILL nearly missed it. I would have if the flight weren't delayed. And my dumb ass left a utility knife in my carry on. :\ Gee, I wonder if that's illegal.
P.S. Thanks for the delicious cheese.
Mmmm.

Awwww I remember that :D I also stuck my finger in poor Monster's ear - that's how I test my puppy to see if she's out or not, heh :) I met Coro's too, just happened to run into him walking them. Yay Massive Black doggies :D
