Hello! This is my first post on CA (I wanted to post for a long time,but always got scared when I saw the works of the others and then mine....:bashful: ).
Anyways, I am 16 years old (turned 17 few days ago DX ) and I have been drawing "seriously" for about 2 years.(seriously - trying to draw from life,study anatomy and the stuff around.....well,as much as seriously as a 15 yr old can :P )

Well finally my scanner is working again!! X__X

Anyways, here are some new things (some of them are a bit old...but Im thinkng of re-drawing them)

AAAnd thanks for the two replies! I didnt expect even that XD


1.pic - is the newest, done out of boredom....(20 min)
2. - this one took me a while, drawn and shaded only with a mechanical pencil (it was hell)(3-4 hrs)
3. Ive tried a caricature....and I have failed XD (15 min)
4. Im not even sure what it is...at first it was supposed to be a geisha,than kabuki player, than a transvestite and in the end...something from everything D: (15 min)

Damn that Geisha is ugly- she looks like she can fight though!!! Haha. I like the style that you drew her. Actually, all your stuff looks pretty cool. I really dig the classical/life studies.

My only critique so far is your first pic of the anime chick with the striped stockings- her weightlessness bugs me for some reason. I think it works well with the other women but for some reason it looks unintentional in this first drawing.

Other than that- just keep posting.

Hey man, good start for sure. Keep doing them anatomy sketches and draw much from life. I recommend Burne Hogarths books, I love them. Also coo that you study some of the old masters, Michelangelo etc. They sure earned the word "master". The heads in your last post looks a bit odd, again, Burne Hogarth! See if you can find Drawing The Human Head, got everything from different headshapes and proportions to anatomy and facedetails.
