hey guys, im gona be buying my slr this week end and the only thing standing in my way is the dust prevention system on the canon xti. i got my eyes on the nikon d80 also but i was just wondering since the nikon dosent have one if that will be a big los

dust gets into everything... even lenses..
that anti dust system is a nice thing to have. but i woundnt have that as a deciding factor..eventually ull have to clean the sensor.
i would go for the d80.. its a really nice cam.. and i have a 20d..and used to have a xt..

thanks ukan, well ill go for which ever the cash allows but so far i think ill be able to grabthe d80 :)

i went with the nikon d80 with 18-135 mm lense its soo sweet plus got it signed up o a plan for repairs and such plus free case yay. pics coming 2mrw
