Dear Concept Artists,
I am a UK-based journalist and screenwriter, in the final stages of a feature film treatment that will be submitted to various funding bodies here in the UK for development financing.
I require a skillful concept artist to create 2 images that will be included in the treatment to support the application and interest producers in the project.
The project is a period action/horror, featuring medieval weaponry and armour. The images must be firmly grounded in reality, and must not be "cartoony" in any way.
I confess my knowledge of concept art is limited, but I would imagine that this work would not take an accomplished artist very long, or prove too much of a stretch. It is really just to give producers a feel of what I'm proposing with the project.
For this work I can provide a deferred payment of GBP 100 in the event that I am commissioned/or succeed in securing development funding. Obviously should I prove unsuccessful in this goal then the position will remain unpaid. However, your work (and website if applicable) will be prominently listed on all images that are released to producers. Should I prove successful in my applications, then there is also the prospect of further work for the successful artist.
If you would be interested in this opportunity please email samples to Evan at evanleightondavis@hotmail.com stating "Concept Artist Vacancy" in the subject line. Artists with experience of armour/medieval weaponry preferred.
