I did this one with my markers.

Very hard to make out. Maybe if you'd left the feet in, it wouldn't have been so hard.

But where exactly is the difference between a finished pic and a sketch?
Must there be a background or color?

Yes, I'll have to practice my anatomy. It's pretty hard :(
