Hi, I just dicoverred this great forum and after looking around for a while I thought the best way to introduce myslef is to start a sketchbook thread, so you can get an idea of what I am up to.
At the moment I am working on character concepts for an animation I am making.
feel free to leave crits'n coments.

some recent lifedrawing, starting with the long ones they are all about 30 to 35 minutes. They are all A1, done with pencil and colour pencil. I'd love to do some more but unfortunately classes stop during christmas holiday.
The blue one was a really funny model I wish I'd had put some colours, his hair was coloured in all shades of the rainbow and he kept telling stupid jokes.

some studies of my characters head, I found it quite difficult to do all of this from my mind. Some, in fact a lot of it, is surely wrong. Opinions on it would be great.

hi, I like your style.! those expression characters remind me of some of leonardo davincis grotesque characters. i would LOVE to see these guys get up and walk around in an animated film, short or somthing. Great pen work. keep going man.

Your characters are so interesting! I especially like the tiger transformations. I'd like to see more of them interacting with each other. :)

thanks guys, great to get some replies in the end.
Oh and don't worry those characters will be animated and interact, you'll just have to be patient, animation is sooo tedious, no matter what technique.

cheers guys, I am storyboarding at the moment. It's like seventy percent thinking ten percent drawing and another twenty percent of questioning all of your shots and storyline just to go over it again. But I should have a decent animatic ready by the mid of january as well as some tests on how the characters are going to move. -probably cutout, would like to try them in 3d, but I don't have enough time, and doing stuff in 3d I usually have to spend too much time getting rid of the 3d look in the end.
Anyway I might post some screenshots of my previous animations so you can get a better idea.
To help the sketchbook along, here are some earlier character designs.
