Hey, nice open ended topic, which is a good thing, cos mine isn't really an alien or robot or demon, but i just started painting and this is what happened. Think I'm a vampire demon hunter or something like that. Looks a bit Nightwatch. Anyway was fun and i'll prob keep working on it, so here it is,

Hideyoshi - Excellent. You make me want to not be so big a baby about learning the custom/texture-brush and orderly-chaos ropes. Whatever the approach description, it's great. You bastard.

Hamsta, dan liimatta, and Zombie_Girl - Is there really a photo under there?

johnn - Huh. Liquify Tool? Nope, didn't use that. Just Airbrush and Eraser Tools and a pinch of Spherize Filter on the second image. :P We are the only two to punch in some body hair, though. :teeth: Nice weirdness, interesting perspective, and good consistency of colour!
