Here is some Marko Djurdjevic fan art. :) Watching his DVD inspired me to try and draw a character in his style. I had little success with this image but had fun in the process so it was worth it. I suggest anyone who has not picked up the DVD to get it. Very inspiring stuff, and some great tips. :yayca:

This is some of my practice work in Digital Painting. I still can not seem to get a grasp of DP no matter how much I read about it or practice. :nohope:

Once you hit it right, your style, urban flavoured, makes it shine - but it feels very hit & miss, and it's probably a combination of all the tools that seems to glitch for you ~ sometimes your pen style doesn't make the form live, and it gets flat, the rhino for example, and sometimes I hope you, as in some pieces, are playing with anatomy, for you get some wonky results. In others like the monk/swordsman it clicks, or perhaps my personal favourite, the last piece of post #6.
The words are hot as well, and refreshing to see on CA - makes me want to start digging through my aerosoul books and magazines, and perhaps even make some calls to old friends and see if they are still working the walls :P
Though that won't happen, the inspiration still tingles.

Dan Limatta - Sorry to respond so late. I can't beleive it has been over a month since I have viewed my sketchbook. Thanks for leaving some advice. I am playing around with anatomy in some of my work. Ironically, the reason I do play around with anatomy is because of lack of it. I sometimes exaggerate to "Cover up" what I do not know. I know how you feel about getting the Blackbooks out and calling up friends to work the walls. Everything I do is legal now. :)

Pretty good for a first attempt at watercolour; nice and vibrant. I love the fact that you're not afraid to be playful; I think that's the quality that keeps your work fresh.
