and the details. This really is a "speed painting", I suppose. Original photo reference by Ron Harris.

hey T i like this nice straightforward painting
the head/face has some small proportion issues--but they are very subtle
the ear might be too far back--unless you make the eyes a haitr bigger which could rectify that
the chin is a little large
or maybe the head is a tiny bit too small ? i cant quite put my finger on it but something about the face/head feels lsightly off-- i think its the spacing of ear
also wheres the fore-arm??
nice execution---ty

thanks T,
There's also an issue with the shoulder actually, she kinda overstretches it a bit, but I think it's still in the realm of the acceptable. Her forearm follows the path of the lower leg, so it's hidden by it (I love to concoct excuses for everything so I don't have to fix them, heh).
The other issue I sort of noticed is that the tail could have a bit more highlights at the root because on the smaller version, you don't really see the subtle gray line visible in the 100%, and it looks like the tail's coming out of her <expletive deleted>.

I think there's an issue with the rotationof the wings.....the far one is extended out more to the side, but the near one is almost flat with the plane of the paper....I think it'd be cooler rotated out a bit....maybe not quite symmetrical with the other one, but still out like it's spread a bit more, y'know?
