Panel One: Changeling standing there looking at the fourth wall

Changeling: “I wish to be Elmo.”

Panel Two: Seven looked up from her history book to find the young girl, Changeling, staring at her with impossibly large, eager blue eyes.

Seven: Excuse me?

Changeling: Elmo? (She’s pointing to another table)

Panel Three: Relentless and Dauntless sit with huge grins splashed across their faces. They waved back.

Changeling: They said you would help me be dark and brooding like Elmo.

Some really cool stuff goin' on in this sketchbook thread, man. I like the stylized comic book look you're working in but I'd really like to see you focus on life drawing and studying more. There are still some anatomy issues here and there that plague your otherwise cool hero drawings. I think the bold ink work is nice... it looks pretty fluid and confident. Color work is pretty good too. The saturated look definitely fits with the medium you're working in. But don't be afraid to get in there and really push some of the lighting around to make the entire piece more exciting. Illustration is all about contrast and I'd love to see you push some of that more in your works. Keep postin'!

Nasty Wolverine you should have $%$# N' giggles more often.

Your amazing at what you do especially the primacolors. Maybe it your signature style or maybe it is cause I've seen your work for a couple of months now but though anatomically sound all your women are proportionately the same (a breast enhancement here and there but sameness) Yes I realize this is what you do as a storyboarder for the industry but I think others like myself really would like to see a non comic-esque beauty with close to normal figures. And its not that i dont have all confidence in your work its just you seem the type to slam dunk and slam dunks are strong and display power strength and aggression but in the NBA who cant dunk? A three pointer is needed at times an elegant three point shot that may not go in every time but is well worth the risk (you will just rebound anyway so how about it.) How about you do a drawing of something not so comic esque I aint trying to through off your rthythm or nothing and By all mean ignore all the forementioned if it urks you in the slightest but I really want to see what your three point shot looks like.

reminds me a bit of a. hughes too. because of the faible for big breasted women.
crits: on the portrait of vampirella , i thik her torso looks too small compared to the shoulders and breasts. the colouring of most of your sketches got too much highlights for my taste maybe reduce them a bit?!

Great work! I really like the idea with the oilcan. Would be a great humor according to his facial expression.
I noticed that the belt buckle in the colored version pops out really hard, because of no perspective. Its not that wicked but once i noticed it, the belt always jumps at me - maybe I'm crazy.

I'm disappointed with this one, either it was a rush job or you weren't feeling well, but the characters' seems stiff and their proportions are off especially the one in the front. The characters should also be in the same perspective alignments as the buildings considering it looks to be a worm's eye view.

The background looks good though, I like the way the sky came out.

cool stuff man, love the bride of frankenstein con sketch, cool work on that BG...
not a big fan of that latest one or the cover.On the cover, te ground just feel odd to me, but the PS effect on the bg s pretty effective...for some reason the colors don't work...meh, loving the comic books style as usual!

good stuff as usual Scott, always love the crazy inks, spattering n stuff in the sketches.Not a big fan of the halo around the last character...and keep channeling the inner AH! hehe, altho i think a very mportant aspect of his style is his use of a think outline

Matt - it depends on some I can go from pencil to colors in a day!...on others it can last a week,sometimes more!
