Hi! I am a Hungarian illustrator and comic artist. This is my first post on the ConceptArt. The pictures attached bellow (two book covers and its details) were taken part in The New Masters of Fantasy 2004 and 2005 (http://www.mastersoffantasy.com/).
I am looking forward to your comments.

Not bad. Your Drawings are much better than your paintings and your anatomy needs a little work. Your guy in particular (second painting) has no collar bones and the position you have his neck and head in seems really awkward and uncomfortable. It looks like his eyes are closed which is much less dramatic, and his right leg is more or less just gone, making it look as if he is somehow being born out of the gargoyles head.

Its a good idea but I think you need to rework it. Compositionally the first one is better, but you still have some anatomy issues, again with the guy. There is something very definitely not right with his arms. They look to be two different shapes and sizes and the upper arms are way too short.

Also the lack of definition on her torso seems a little weak. I get that its maybe a style thing, but the statues on the pillar next to her have more definition than she does. She is naked there and no definition flattens out what I know isn't flat.

Finally your background buildings would benefit from a little more perspective.
