time for a new thread
here is a new portrait..
this one was pretty hard cause i had such a small reference pic
it went amziingly fast, took me 1,5 hour and an extra 20 min- half an hour for the background
im pretty proud of the bg
plz C&C on this, much appreciated

Pretty cool, like how you put in structure with the raked brush. The orange is pretty saturated for me, but it does work well in the overall picture. Maybe it's just me but there's something funky with the chin.

That ear, the textures, and color choices are smoken hot. The edge of your forehead fails to turn form.

yeah, there is something funky with it, really nice picture though. . you've placed the shadow under his lips in a straight line, though on the picture it follows the line of the under part of the chin first, and then almost goes straight up. for the rest not much to crit, really nice pic :)

hey nice job! have you thought about cooling down your highlights? the light side of the reference looks a lot cooler than the finished sketch.

Cool, Joey-b. I like this one more than your other portraits. The flatter colors you used on the other portraits really don't compliment them. The textures here give it some interest without being over-powering.
