They are pretty much next to each other. I kinda feel sorry for the adeliade hostel as everyones moving to HI lol. And even if you dont get into HI downtown we will be out most the time anyway.

Hm, I just got my confirmation at the Adelaide (was the last detail I had to take care of to attend the workshop after deciding at the last minute).

Ditto, I couldn't confirm a reservation for the 14-18 slot at the HI when I tried a couple of nights ago. Looking forward seeing some of the faces from the 1st SF workshop and meeting some new ones Steph. Safe travels everybody.

... so are people staying in the dorm style rooms? with other workshopgoers... or if you just book, will they stick you in a room with random people?
... that being said... anyone's room have an open bed, or is that something you can't check?
I only get so much bout the hostel process...
depending on figuring out cost and place to sleep... if it all works out, i'll be coming to the workshop... very possibly.
Thx all.

Ehhhh... I really don't like dorm set-ups, so I'm sticking with my private room in the Adelaide. I mean, it's not like I can't just crash the party room at the HI and toddle back to my room at the buttcrack of dawn ;)
fae: You have options (but hurry, rooms are booking!) You can pay a little extra for a private room, which can have up to 4 beds, or you can chance it and get placed in a single sex dorm and pay a bit less. It all depends on how much you want to sleep is all :) Unfortunately, my room is full. To book at the Adelaide, you must first go to their site and send an email requesting the days you want to stay there, and what kind of room you want. They will then send a confirmation email and let you know what they have available.
Hope you can make it!
