i leave the technical part to someone else but the 1st one reminds me of this http://www.figmentfly.com/legend/gifs/Darkness.JPG and since he is holding the unicorn horn i guess its him ^_^ love that movie. anyways most of these looks kind of flat, try pushing the shadows a bit darker and put in more middle tones. anathomicly i cant say much 0_o its not my field.. the Toy car is imho the best one ^_^

have to agree. the shading your doing has no gradient to it, thus making it flat. and the fist you did with the veins make it too 3d! the way the shadows come out is like looking at a mountain but only seeing one side of it. u go from dark to light, but not back again so you have this half arc. try drawing a ball and u will see what i mean. in other words more here, less there. apart from that some good stuff!
