Be one of three artists or photographers to win a moobad website and a 100mb account on a server for a year.

The contest runs till midnight, June 30, 2003.

You can checkout how to enter at www.moobad.com (http://www.moobad.com/index.php?via=contest) .

WHAT'S MOOBAD?
The moobad system is a website builder. The moobad user defines a website navigation menu from which the moobad system builds a website.

WHY MOOBAD?
Although the moobad website builder can be used quite creatively, it is designed for artists and photographers who prefer to focus on their artwork rather than website technology. Once you have a moobad website rolling along for you, that's the last time you'll ever have to search for the user manual to make a change. Adding and removing images and content is totally intuitive. Adding and removing menu navigation is even easier.

because I hardly know anything about html does that mean that I most likely wouldn't win?

It helps, cause in order to make moobad zing, you need to know a bit of how to use HTML... On the other hand, it's also possible to cut and paste HTML code from generating programs like Adobe Golive or Macromedia's Dreamweaver.

There's no cost to enter, other than the time it takes to send an entry email.

I've added a third type of site to the moobad playground. It demonstrates how rollover graphics can be used in the navigation menu on a moobad site...

Click the "Rollover sites" option... www.moobad.com (http://www.moobad.com/index.php?via=rolloverConcept)

I prefer macromedia's "dreamweaver" you dont have to know any HTML.

There's really little comparison between Dreamweaver and moobad. Like comparing watermellons and peanuts.

Dreamweaver is a huge program capable of designing and maintaining just about any sort of website - I use it quite a bit. moobad is aimed at a single niche type of site.

Dreamweaver has a pretty steep learning curve. moobad does not.

Dreamweaver comes in a box. moobad comes on a server with 100 megs of disk space. :chug:
