Hey everyone!

The time is coming for the workshop! I thought I would throw the idea out there for anyone that needs art supplies - I am able to get a bulk discount if we get a big enough order together. I work at an art store (Blick) and want to help out as much as I can...

So, I guess I am starting this thread to see if there's any interest in this sort of thing. I am basically shooting to fill out the list William Whitaker was so kind to put together for everyone. I am sure some people have materials already, but for those of you that would like to get materials for the workshop, are just starting out, etc, this might be a good deal for you to save some money.

If you're interested, give me a shout out. I will try and get some prices together and put together a few options for people depending on what you need. I am thinking if we ALL need turps, mediums, etc, we can save the hassle of making a trip and buying them in SF... we could all share out of a big can or what have you, and I can just have the stuff sent to my friend in SF and can bring it all with me when I arrive!

The only problem I foresee at the moment is payment, but I do have paypal and that is an option. I can get receipts for everyone if you want them. That's getting a bit ahead of myself, but if you have any ideas I would be happy to get this ball rolling!!

This offer is for anyone and everyone attending the workshop, not just the atelier! I can order anything off of dickblick.com... just something to keep in mind. Hope to see you guys there!

Hey Jessica, we are planning on having an art store show up at the workshop. I think I may have mentioned this before. Is this something you are able to help me arrange? We need to have a full gamut of drawing and painting supplies as well as paper and canvas boards there for folks who want to create. Feel free to hit me at my email jmanley*at*massiveblack.com

Hey Jason!

I will hit you up at your email, we can definitely work something out I'm sure... our stores do a ton of conventions/events (most recent was prolly the San Diego ComicCon). It might be some short notice but if they're smart they'll jump on it! :)

It's so nice you are doing this. I already purchased most of the equipment, but I still need to get turpentine when I get off the airplane. Let me know how much it costs and I'll send you the payment.

yes please, if you can buy some rags and medium, that'd be awesome ^^

if it's at the workshop, even better! or we can make a huge trip down to an art store like we did in montreal, i think we scared the clerks though at how many there were of us...

i'll bring cash!
