I've got very little to say about that other than - its very cool.

Only thing is his foot - with such a human body, its a little wierd. Wierd is good though.

I agree, it is a tad weird, but its not like his center of gravity is off or anything, its just that you don't expect it when you're scrolling down and then BAAM! but I like. :)

What school do you go to?

I go to the Art Institute of Dallas. I was previledged enough to come in around the time MCotie went there(depending on how you look at it.:D he's an awesome artist and person.)
Yeah I made his foot like that becuase I thought it would be interesting.

i have the same problems with those greytone markers, in that, i can't get enough sauration to make things look round and shaded, maybe photoshop some shadows and highlights? i think dropping in a shadow under his feet would make him look more grounded too...awesome character!!:D

Thanks. I'm still trying to get the hang of those markers. I try to follow the tutorials(You know the tutorials) but i'm usually in class at the time so i'm constantly looking at the examples and trying to at least do it some kind of justice.:D

I really really like this!!!, alot of people go on about how greatly drawn things are but I also want to say the DESIGN of the character is brilliant, original and well put together. Just out of interest, how big was the piece of paper you drew this on?

I drew it on a 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of typing paper.I don't normally draw on anything bigger than that. :cool:

pretty cool, he kinda reminded me of the tall blue guy in final fantasy 11 was it? but very cool and different once you take your sketch all the way in.

Kimari. I'm a huge fan of the final fantasy series. As for why he looks Blue I used cool grey markers to color him in to finish the marker render.:cool:

Bout time Dez. Post some of the other stuff too. You and your brother are being stingy. You've got all this cool stuff and you're hidin it. I personally think the feet are cool as hell. One day I will restart the model on this guy. One day I'll finish one of the great concepts you've given me. One day! Keep it up man.

really like the design, the foot kinda bambozzled me too at first, but then it grew on me......well not *ON* me but you get the idea ;)
