OT:
I went alone from Sweden to San Francisco at the beginning of the month...without any real problems. It's hard to get it wrong at the airports as long as you keep your eyes and ears open (which you will if you haven't done this before), and if you can meet up with some CAers when you arrive at the airport (everyone should bring a conceptart.org sign!) then you're set. And if you don't meet up with anyone, getting a cab from the airport to wherever you're staying is ridiculously easy.
Trust me, you don't want to miss this. I've heard some of their plans and it all sounds very cool. And that's coming from a programmer...

Me and 3 of my friends from school need to go to this. We are coming from chicago and have been through hell and back trying to get funds and our school to help us go. We just bought the plane tickets an hour ago $1400. Is there anyway possible that we can get some kind of reservation or something and pay the $330 per person once we get there? If not, please let me know as soon as possible so me and my friends can try to figure out a way to pay now. We've fought tooth and nail to get the funds for the plane, begged all the departments in our school made a huge deal out of it, and we need to make sure us four get in! If we need to pay now we shall beg our parents...otherwise we'll have the money just before we fly out there. Let me know please!!! If you want I can email you our plane itinerary and names if this is possible to reserve four spots otherwise, we can do it one credit card!!!! I'm so fucking excited!!!!!!
