Pastel me out!

I recently did a concept of a forest with pastels. this was so fun to do i kinda felt like a younger me just doodling to past time. The paper is 25"w x 20"h.

please let me know what you think of it, all comments welcomed.

Nice job with the colour; It's quite vibrant.

My only question is: What's that big black thing it's attached to?

The colors are pretty to look at.

The perspective are off.

The compostion needs work though... There's too much going in the background and the foreground and it throws me off . The question is where is your focus? I think the sun is very distracting. >_^; The elements that you add to the picture should add not take away.

drd - that big cyclinder thing is a carry tube i got it at a Loomis Store sale.

before doing this pic i looked at a lot of Pixar's making of series. The monsters inc one was really inspirational.

the perspective is off, definately, guess for the next one i do i'll try and nail it down
