GREAT FIND.
I'm absolutely giddy, I love the scaling features this thing has! It's like Flash for my FINGERS! WANT!

when he showed the "lightbox" and the scaled the pictures with his fingers...I was like...AAWWWWW...right along with the audience.
That's an awesome toy. And it has soooo many applications. design, print, media, animation, hell everything could use this interface.

Didnt Microsoft present a similar system except you didnt need to touch the screen at all, but rather it had sensors that could detect your movements in space XYZ? OR was this it? I only read an article, didnt see it myself

wow, this is why its really important for artist to learn the foundations, because the tools are not only always changing, they're becoming more intuitive in the traditional sense. great find.

This is interesting. I saw in the Imagefx issue, they featured a tablet. You can use your own paint brushes and the tablet will pick up the texture and elumlate it photoshop. Pretty much you can "paint" on the tablet.
It's interesting where technology goes these days.

God, I can't even begin to contemplate how researchers would go about coding and designing something like this...it boggles the mind.

Hmm, i've seen several similar applications by now. This one has pressure sensitivity which is nice. Too bad a lot of these look like they are ages away from being affordable by the average poor computer geek costumer - me.
But damnit i want a zooming desktop like that now. I'll just use my mouse wheel instead of the two handed gesture. That and one of those big panorama monitors i saw on tv a couple of years ago.

Can't wait until that becomes a standard interface, it's like something out of a sci-fi story/show.
