I hope it's not redundant to start a brand new thread on this. There have been a lot of posts in a lot of different threads regarding technique... but sometimes I have a hard time finding something I read earlier. This thread is to put all materials and technique advice in one place.

ok???

Nick.. shit, maybe this thread is redundant. I was just having problems finding advice given in all sorts of different places besides the demo thread.

Anyway, though...

I think Justin said he uses a normal sketchbook... but when I tried it my paper got kinda warped and felt a little thin. The ink also bled through about 2 pages (the backside of the original plus the front and back of the previous page).

I'm using a Canson 65 lb. 100% recycled spiral bound book. Pretty standard.

Maybe I used to much isopropyl alcohol. How much do you use? What do you guys mix it in?

How many layers... drying time... shit like that.

Thanks,

-Bone
