I'm trying to get better as an artist, so I'm drawing almost anything I can see.
I'm trying to get better with faces, so I'm that's going to be the concentration of this (for the most part).
So here's what I did today:

June 18-

A magazine reference, 4 minute sketch.

Just an ear

A women that I made look embarassingly old.

Our dying pear tree.

Anyway, I'm still learning, so critique away!

edit: Also, I'm sorry for the crappy quality, I don't have a scanner anymore :(

Well i can suggest some observation drawing(it really does wonders for your work i have recently learnt this)

The ear looks ok

The third one, i have the same problem i,ll be sketching and after putting of shading and lines it looks really old. But i,m slowly over coming this.

Branches have some nice shading.

All i can say is look and draw, lots of observation really works.

Sorry for the crappy quality on this one. I'm thinking about cleaning it up a bit more and actually shade this one.
