The only surviving bookstore in downtown (a huge Barnes and Noble) is closing its doors on Dec. 30. There's a ton of new and useful books marked 40% and more off, and it will go lower, but the pickin's will be slimmer as time goes on...

(for the record--Warhol Museum, the usual art museums, stuff like that...and an incline. They got an incline.)

Hmmm, things in Pittsburgh. I should know this.....
Warhol museum like Ilaekae said, the Carnegie museum is good too, plus it's surrounded by some beautiful buildings. And as long as your around there, the Caliban book store right up the street has some great indie music and loads of rare books. Also near there is Phipps conservatory if you want to check that out. And a trip to the Strip district would definitely be worth your while if you want some good food.

...an' the National Aviary an'a submarine you can go on an'a a Children's museum with a huge collection of puppets an'a place called the South Side where I used t'get beat up a lot but now it's all these galleries and antique places and fern bars and restaurants and stuff...
