if that robot is the only thing you will work on, it has to fill the page.

Try to finish it the way you think it's ok...THEN you'll get enough crits what to make better or different...

How can anybody say something about this artwork at this stage? It could turn out as a new Da Vinci painting or just a crappy scratch...

Maybe somebody will post an empty drawing and eill say 'I got to this stage, what do i do now to have it become a cool robot/hot chick/muscle guy... '

(...)

Just keep drawing. And if it doesn't work out throw it away and start a new one. And again and again. Then post it.

Keep at it though!

My tip is - make about a page or 2 of thees little robo-guys - scan the best onesand add a little color one them an photoshop and post it.
As my totally whacked-out art-principal used to say "U gotta punch your way in there, kid!". ;)
Boy how we mutually disliked each-other!!!! :P

try using more straight lines instead of curves. use cylinders and stuff.
