Remembrance

Hello everyone~!

"Remembrance" is my latest finished piece, done as an illustration for the month October in a calendar that includes fantasy pictures from Bulgarian CG artists.

I had quite a lot of hardships connected with the background painting. My computer is a bit slow so I had to resize the canvas up and down several times which lead to some loss of detail and blurriness for which I apologize.

Anyway, I did the initial sketch in Sketchbook Pro and the rest is entirely in Photoshop CS. Working resolution before the background is 3000x5000px. The painting took me a week x_X

Hi,

I have a crit for you.

I like the bottom half, her waiste down, it's well painted , but the top half doesnt hold the same detail, polish as the bottom part i.e her face and the top background.

Bring the top half upto the same level of the bottom half and you've got yourself a very tidy piece :)

I think the dress is painted very well, all the detail in amazing. I also like the foliage and the dead leaves; I think that those are done beautifully.
