Back in my senior year of Highschool I started a focus on skulls and anatomy. I derailed from my first idea and started mixing human and animal anatomy to make odd creature sculptures. The human skull was my first project, I made it out of stoneware clay, it's been fired into it's bisque form and painted. I know it's not proportionate to a real skull, but it's almost 4 years old:

Comments and critiques are welcome, thanks much...

Great work

Which kind of clay is it? Is that wet clay?
The only thing, is normally there are holes for eyes , but i can understand that would be difficult to make a empty skull

It's funny it s like a human skull with animal shape

It's a stoneware clay that's been fired once, so it's solid, like ceramic. It is hollow, I had to cut the back off and hollow it out, which, I really hated doing, and even moreso, putting it back together. I've been wanting to get a second try in making a human skull... I plan to when I get a better sculpting material, I'm stuck with plaster, at the moment, I'm out of everything else.
