My english isn't very good, so I'll try to write the question here the best way I can.
Do you have any tips on how to "'paint' sfumato"? I can't find a good description of this technique (actually, the best information I found was here): http://www.time4me.com/theme/art/mona/3.htm
What do you suggest? Using the fingers for a proper blending of the tones? (I use acrylics).
Also, I was admiring Dali's "Still Life- Fast Moving":

...! Any tips on glazing? This painting is so 'realistic' =P! Look at the water going out of the bottle!
And the textures are... hum, I don't know how to describe it... thin! How did he do that?
