Hey folks I haven't posted much in the past 6 months but I'm getting back into the swing of things.

Here are some picts that I've been praticing on coloring

I could use some feed back on using white to highlight areas on faces

I've seen alot of folks useing light to bring out depth in many styles of drawing... any help wii be cool

it's a good effort.
however, about using white highlights, i'd suggest you to chose a light color instead, (close to white if you want) and a light posisiton within your artwork, and analyse how the reflections may work within your pieces. i'm telling you this because most peeps believe that a white hightlight can always do the trick. it's not the white which is important, but the fact that it's a light.
white highlights can be rather risky, as they might not give enough atmosphere to the pics. it should not be used as an "effect", but understood first as a realistic process for your images.
