hey everyone, i just got back from a trip to Spain and I have a lot of work i want to share with ya'll. I got to go to go see the Prado museum in Spain, which houses some of the greatest art ever. I got really attached to El Greco, Velasquez, and Goya there. So here are just a couple of pics from my trip, i have more soon

This is an El GReco painting in the Prado I sat in front of for about 20 minutes copying. This is a really dark picture of the painting by the way, its actually much much lighter in real life.

and here's the drawing I did:

I drew a crowd of 14 people I wasnt aware of until i was done, which kinda freaked me out.

here's a bust of Goya:

and my drawing of it:

And here's a drawing I did of my surroundings on a beach in Nerja (pronounced NER-HA). Very beautiful place, the water is the Mediterrnian sea.

BTW, I fully recommend picking of a bottle of SANDEMAN Don Fino Sherry, very very good

Really like the last one. Feels like I'm standing there. :)

Spain is a great country and I always enjoy staying there. Never been to the Prado yet. You did a good job on the face of El Greco's painting but the hand looks weird (you see that yourself, I'm sure!).

Love the style in which you skteched the bust. Do you use a fine correction pen for the whites?

The Nerja beach drawing is wonderful (but it looks like the weather hadn't been that nice).

Post more of your trip to Spain. I can't travel this year so this is very inspiring!
