It feels good to see someone that loves ballpoint as much as I do. The two on the lower half are my favorites. Great expreshions.

thx guild an Chad..yeah i like ballpoint cause it can almost be used like a pencil(lightly feathered down),it takes a brilliant hand like Feng Zhu to use technical pens properly.

hey great characters! i have a weak spot for the illustrative/animation style of character design. have you been influenced by any of peter de seve's work? you give alot of weight to your characters, lots of depth and a sense of prescence you know what i mean? the only thing i have to observe is on the girl. her left ear dips quite a bit, suggesting a tilt to the head as does the brim of her hat, but her nose seems like it's not in the same alignment... just tweaked kinda throwing off the pose. what do you say? strong design, strong characters. keep up the good work!

Jecatatu,Its funny you asked me about Peter de seve cause i asked someone that question back when i was at classical animation school.lol..yeah hes a superb illustrator, not exactly one of my influences but i enjoy/respect his work very much...If i had to name my main influence it would have to be Comic artist Travis Charest.huge respect 4 him...
yeah,i know where your coming from on yer comments, yeah my proportions needs alot of work.,..cheers m8 :)..

rusty,
really tight stuff man, you've really got a great sense of light and dark, not to mention giving your doodles a good sense of individuality/identity from one another, i know i have somewhat of a problem with generalizing faces of my figures. anyway, it'd be cool to see some more of your stuff, and bust out some bodies too, i'd like to see what you can do with those,
keep it up man,
