ok so i've been toying with hue and saturation but i can't get that realistic and gritty look. Like Marko D.'s work. so any tips or special setting you guys use that you'd be willing to share? Or just tips in general... i'll post up a pic tommorow or so show my hideous super saturated stuff. but help would be apprecitated. thanks

I have no idea what look like a <<Marko D.'s work>>. So maybe posting a pix will help some of us.
--EDIT---
Okay my friend told who it was. But Still, I don't think there is special ''one button'' to get that. Maybe I just don't understand what you mean...

just study cubes, spheres, anatomy books all day, draw from life, and you'll be able to get that 'realistic gritty look'
