this is my first attempt at marker .. i just got some markers today and i wanted to get the feal of them so i did a realklly quick sketch and SAMMY (the marker-master) is gonna help me out with the art of markering...

Sup duder ... here's the critique I printed out and used a 30 in some areas that could be darker, you were havin' a hard time seein' the highlights in your head so I used some white pencil and put some in... still keeping in mind that it's a sketch, I hope they show up in the scan...arround the edges.. a little under the eye.. and on that tube I did some mossy texturin'...

And here's some referense for some shapes homework... do the exercise like I told ya ... I did this two years ago and it was really large , so I had a hard time with the shapes.. so you might wanna do it smaller if you dont have templates

whoa thanks sammy .. u made it look awesome!.. yeah the only marker i have is a 20 40 70 and 90 .. thats good ill try those cones and other shapes out i think

thanx duder, highlights will definately bring out a piece.... the markers you have are sufficient to do some good stuff, I have a hard time with 90's so you might wanna be sparing on it and use it in sharp contrast areas...

EDIT: oh yea... don't try and blend markers with anything.. water, you finger.. just let them stay sharp
