WIP: Toad from loose reference

Here's something I just decided to draw.

I'm using OpenCanvas and I'm basically posting the process, cause if I don't, I will most likely do it half assed.

It's just a 20 minute sketch for now. But I'll start really working on it tomorrow.

It looks like vomit and I've spent more time on it than shows. Altogether about 1 hour 15 mins and I'm not even half finished.

hmmm... I took some time from it and realised that it looked nothing like the ref. I'm hoping it looks more like it now.

Now I'll have to redo the color well, tighten it up and add some detail - and then I'm guessing It'll be finished.
