I think it would be nice if everyone put here studies and sketches made by their favorite painters, in order to build a "virtual museum". It would not only inspire us, but here we would be able to find a nice collection of great studies and sketches easily, without having the trouble of searching hard the internet or books.
Ok, I'll start with some early Van Gogh studies:

And a great one, from 1889:

You can find more at http://www.vggallery.com/index.html.

Now post yours ;)

I don't want to sound like an ass but have you ever heard of google image search; or whatever search engine you like to use as long as it has an image search option?

Mario: Yes I have, but these search engines kinda suck if you want to find good and different images.

Craig: That thread is excelent, but the idea here is to put just studies and sketches from great artists, that you think that would be nice to share with other people.
