This is going to be a promotional piece for my comic I'm working on, and if it turns out good, I'm going to try to sell prints of it to support the bandwidth costs of the comic, which spike from time to time. I figured I'd just post images as I work, and any feedback I get, try to incorperate that into it as I go. This is the first time I've posted a piece here in months and months. =] Thanks a million in advance guys.

I don't have a set monster in mind, the archer is to look slightly asian, slightly elven. This will be the first person of this race I've drawn, so that too is flexable. I already like the horse, and horses give me a ton of trouble, so I'm fairly happy with it. The back legs are going to be mostly blocked by moving snow that was kicked up. The background will be snowy and cold I hope.

One of my weaknesses, and I'd love help here, is compositional type of issues. Like I want it to 'read' well to the eye. So help me watch for that if you would guys. =]

And lastly, I want to keep movment in the issue, especially without using lame motion filters or anything like that, but with debris, and stuff being kicked up, etc. I love that in an image.

Nice picture, i like the detail and movement. I did notice a few kinks in the piece. If you look at the shading on the horse it doesent match with the rider. Her face and the hair seems to have shadows on the wrong side. And another thing if the light is coming from behind the rider towards the lizard where is the shadow?
