Hi, this is my first image post. I just started drawing seriously as I am majoring in illustration and I need a lot of help. Be bruttal, seriously. I want to learn faster rather than slower.

There is something awkward about the neck and head position. I think they are shifted too far toward her left shoulder.

Yur right. Now that I look at it more carefully it looks like her head is about to slide off. Thanks for the extra perspective.

You seem to be leaping forward to a full-rendered look when you are still struggling with proportions and anatomy. Have you got access to a figure drawing studio yet? Spend as much time as humanly possible drawing nudes from life. Take some of those drawings and re-draw them with costumes on. Keep the drawings quick until you are consistently getting good proportions and anatomy. Then you’ll find this sort of thing to be much more possible.

Right leg: Her knee and tight face foward but looking to the angle of her foot her ankle would either be artificial or severly broken and twisted...
Both Legs:Her calfs and her feets should be larger and longer
Shoulders: Look like they are kind of placed beside her torso rather than attach to it.
Hands And Harms: Even if the arm lenght on both side of the elbow is relatively similar, observe that your hand and wrist are not included in the half-half proportion. They do almost a quarter of of the full arm lenght... For now, observation is your best tool...

My school offers figure drawing for anyone twice a week but I am unable to attend either because I'm in class or have other commitments. Would drawing from photos be helpful? I'll put out my Hogarth book and refresh, it's been some three years since I even attempted to draw people. Thanks for the crit, much appreciated. I could see there was something awkward with the pose/figure but couldn't figure out what.

Nothing can replace drawing from a live figure, Zyph. It is an absolute necessity if you wish to draw anything figurative professionally. Do everything you possibly can to get those drawing sessions in your schedule.
