cutie,with a gun... (waaaachaaut!!)

Hey everybody, I'm a new member here, my friend who is a "conceptart-aholic" has been telling me to post my artwork here for a long time, just to see what everyone thinks about it...but only until now I decided to give it a try...and listen to him.
This is a new painting that I just finished a couple of days ago, It is done on an illustration board 24" x 30", it was painted 100% with an Airbrush, and 100% freehand, I painted it for a series of stickers that I'm getting printed this week...hope you like it!

For this one I used Corel Painter, and a photo of my brother posing like that...of course I had to beef him up a bit...it still needs a little bit of work, but I had to finish it for an art exhibit, I'm hoping to work on it as soon as I get a chance. This is my first "somewhat finished" painting done completely with painter 6, I have a couple that I did on photoshop too, that I'll probably post later on...

ah so nice to see some actual airbrush work these days, especially so clean and freehand. nice work me thinks, but the gun is a little funky, the size and perspective are a little jinky and it doesn't quite look like she's holding onto any grip on the gun, just kind of holding it in her hands. shiny is sexier i think when it comes to the hardware chicas are packin as well but when you're freehanding airbursh these things can happen, and they aren't bad enough to take from the picture

i agree about the pistol. the perspective looks a little strange, like it's actually larger around one end than it is just coming out at the viewer. and also about the shininess and that appeal...maybe shiny like chrome? I'd love that. Her face is adorable though, quite the mastermind you are!

Deth jester...sorry about my website, but since I built it maself, and I've been busy with some art exhibits in the last couple of months, I didn't get a chance to finish it when I started it, right before that...I'm gonna try to finish it in the next couple of weeks though, I have a lot of new artwork, and I seem to be catching up with my work. I liked posting here though....it's easier so I'll post some mo' work.

Hey bluepencilartist, thanx, I actually finished the painting kinda fast, altogether it took me about twenty hours, but the poncho she is on, and the hat took the longest to paint.
