I know you guys probably get this question all the time, and I apologize because I know it's a pain in the butt to answer every other new guy, but I can't find any messages in the forum that describe it: how do you post an image in your message if you can't attach it and you also don't have a website to link it to? I do have some images that I want some critique on, but in order to do that I need this help first. Anything would be appriciated. thanks!

You have to have a server to upload it from. That's the only way.
I know there are websites with free image hosting but as I have my hosting from a friend. I don't really know the names of them. ^_^ but you can check google!

Thanks for the advice, otherside! I found a website to put my images onto (including my avatar) so here is my first picture on the website! I've been a longtime viewer and now I can contribute. feel free to attack it as you see fit, I already know I've got some anatomy issues and faces are one of my biggest problems, so any advice on those would be appriciated. thanks

First of all a big welcome.
Now for the crits. :) (as constructive as possible)
It definitely shows potential but the thing that I notice right away are some proportion issues. Take his left arm for example.
Though proportions are hard to get right and you need to practise a lot. But you can check very easily if something is right or not.
Ask a friend to take the pose of the character and see what happens with his left arm. Check where it goes in relation with the rest of the body.
Definitely get some anatomybooks (at the library) as these are a great help for understanding how the human body works.

Hope this helps a bit.
