i like it a lot!!!
one critic...the metal gives more the impression of plastic than real metal...in some parts specially in the green areas... at least to me, aside from that it's terrific...!!!
love the design by the way...keep posting!!!

I agree, in some places it appears too 'plastic'. I find it hard to pinpoint exactly what the subtle differences between plastic and metal are, but I think it has to do with default 'fake/artificial- looking' 3d materials looking more like plastic than metal.

Gorgeous, JZA... the detail you have in there is simply awesome. I didn't see a problem with the metal when I looked at it. I interpreted it as being all metal, but that the green had a coating on it... say, green paint?! Heh... I wouldn't touch it. It's excellent as is.

This is a good sample of its kind. Really, it needs, somehow, a more heavily metallic sense (which could contribute to its character as a heavy duty machine) but the main aim, that of its monstrosity -I suspect- is nearly achieved. Especially this look of hunchbackness gives to it al lot.

Blind>> Heh, good to know, thanks! Yea, its green paint alright! :)
Fatesailor>> The aspects of 'heavy duty'-nature and 'monstrosity' were indeed very important. Like I said, I too do think an even more explicit metallic look in some places will take the concept even further. Thanks for the crits, I'll keep it in mind when I do my next piece!
Dieselseven>> Thanks!!
