Alright, here are some new ones made today. The first two are some ideas I had for the current Ch.o.W. "Fairy Hitman". I was going along the lines of a washed-up hitman, ala Pierce Brosnan in the Matador, if any of you have seen it.

The last two are a WIP and a final of a drawing I was doing today, with a reference from a fashion mag.

Voila

keep drawing!

I'd also say slow down as it looks like you're rushing some of this, also alot of the pictures by themselves maintain a monochromatic feel (meaning you need to vary the tones more.. alot of them look too light and there isn't enough contrast between light and dark, perhaps thats your scanner though). Work on anatomy too.

Hey, pretty good reference and figure studies. As Eph said, its a mono and needs some tone!

Count me in on SSG 37, I'm one of you now.

Yo! I think the skeletal gestures needs work!
Don't worry, I have some old handouts of the animation thing.

Maybe you could practice these.

Also Favrus and Heartbeat was doing great in the WIP section of The Gesture thread.

Try doing things and make things in simple geometries.
That would really help a lot in defining volume.
Keep posting man!

Good start. Don't work from photo reference right now. Life, only.

I'll definitely incorporate some perspective into my environments next time, thanks for the advice. I'm looking forward to your next art post.

Yeah good start up in here, definitely get some life drawing in, and do way more skeletal studies, try and bang pages of them, you don't really have to spend too much time on em. Again, good start, these ladies have Adam Hughes-sized propotions :teeth:.

Hey man, maybe this could help, I can't stress how gesture is very important in drawing. And this actually helped me a lot.

Vilppu said this is the most important aspect in your drawing. And he's right, so what if you know every bones and muscles placement. If you can't make it act like human your drawing becomes stale. Because manequins also resemble the human form, that's how your drawings will become when you disregard this important element in your art. Lifeless.

Now let's see 'em drawings!!!;)

Hey! Nice studies and congrats in making such a big leap artistically from last we saw you.

The guy sitting is the best because it 's graphically appealling!
And the guy bending is good but punch in more darks to have more volume!
