I really like the pencle one personally. I think the color pallet your playing with is a little too gray. The forground needs a bit more color contrast.
I'm looking forward to seeing this progress though, I hope you post updates :D

I hope you are comfortable with and aware of the fact that this subject matter will be a major turn-off to some of your potential employers. Make sure that if you ever build a portfolio for a non-porn job that you don’t include this, no matter how spectacularly the final turns out.

this is more of a crit on your website although your art is good, your site is very boring its to template styled and somewhat akward to navigate. look at some other artists sites and see how the layouts are setup and then design your own.
also half naked women holding signs isn't very professional and will turn away possible employers.

I agree...you might want to rethink this one...:bashful: :bashful:

Hm... I Great piece of art, but it seems to me that the woman's face is... a bit exaggerated? Of course that might be your thing, but her mouth a bit too large...
I'm not a big fan of..rape(eps different species ><), but otherwise 'tis good :]

Why are all the images on your website all pixilated?

I don't like the horizontal "v" the arms are forming across the image. It breaks up the whole composition. The subject matter reminds me of Serpieri, and some of his Druuna stuff.

I:P find it that not everyone has cable connection, so the low rez images help the upload of images go quicker..

I remember reading in the half life 2: raising the bar book that Gabe Newell of Valve software hired one of their first concept artists for half life partly because the concept artist showed him (Gabe) a sketch that showed an alien dragging his giant floppy dick behind him. This could very well get ya hired ;)

Sure. . . in a small team that has yet to learn professional codes of conduct or hire a female employee.

you should post some of your other works, some are really nice. This one...is pornographic art, there has been a spike lately for erotic and pornographic art in the freelance world lately. But they are mostly private pieces or for decoration of adult websites.
The piece you are showing here has no relevance to erotic artwork nor concept artwork, it simply portrays the degrading of a woman by a male alien through rape. What is the purpose of the piece? what is your message?

:al: :am: :aa: :ao: :D

You have good styles but most of your work seems to be a very, pardon the wording, "bitches and ho's" mentality, most of these you might see on the front of a rap album or something (girl with oversized or underdressed breasts, lesbian suggestive scenes, and what not) whats you message man? What is your subject matter here?

I know the story, and I think it was more of his explanation of why he drew it that got him hired. It was that he could show that he had put real thought into why this creature was terrifying, and not just that he had drawn some crazy monster with a big dick.

That being said, it would take a hell of an explanation to convince me to hire someone with something like this in their portfolio. But he's not looking for a job from me, and judging from his site he's well aware of what he's doing, and I'm sure there's an audience for it.

I agree on the V-shape of the arms, messes up the composition. You seem to be pretty sure about what you do with your art, so I see no reason to discuss the subject matter per se. But I AM curious as to what inspires you to draw this type of topic. I've seen this kind of work before, and I always wonder about the drive behind it.

I know it's personal, but if you feel like giving me a clue I'm all ears. :D
