Hi there,

I didn't post for some time here on CA. That's bad for me since I was missing this great community from here.

So here I am with new and fresh stuff:

Nice pictures Man.

What kind of Camera do you shoot with?

I like numbers 1, 5 and 7 the most. Number 7 has a really nice ripple effect in the water which is quite calming and easy on my eyes and number 5 has a great low moon shot. And number one is amazing. I love the how the clouds bring a foreshadowing effect to the picture.

Keep up the great work.

Thanks for your comment Chris.

Does it really matter what camera did I use? Maybe the lens, or the filters .. the camera is not of big importance... anyway, I own two Nikons, one D70s and the D200. The photos are made using both cameras.

1,2, and 6 are my favorites.

The sky in 1 has this really alluring, painterly look which I love, it's very soft but the light in the picture retains a sharp look, as if the scene was lit with a very harsh light (the sun for instance, at noon on a cloudless day). This unusual look is very noticeable and really gives the photo a fantastic...mood I suppose is the best way to put it.

The angular lighting on the tower in 2 provides great contrast and is really eye catching, only little niggling thing is that I didn't even notice the person in the picture until the 3rd time I looked at it, but it's not a big deal since the main subject in the photo is the building.

The silhouette of what I'm guessing is a peacock in 6, even though it is the same value as the rest of the black in the photo, stands out because of it's curves and organic shape, which immediately drew my eye to it, 2nd thing I saw was the moon, and thirdly, the faded blue mountains. Nice composition and soft colors, this really looks like it could be a dreamscape.

I shoot with a D70S too, it's a great body, isn't it?

Yes it is a nice camera. This is the main reason I didn't sell it after buying the new body. I use it mainly for Infrared now (the d70s) and I plan converting it to a IR camera (no exterior filters will be needed). First two pics are shot in IR and this is the main reason for the great tonality and mood.

Thanks for your wonderful and to the point comment. This is how people should comments on a photo. Congrats.

Alin.
