"Just some sketches" - hethe

I'm new here to most of you. I've participated in a few DSG but that's it. Things have been busy. I'm glad to be here though. Here are some recent sketches in my quest to become a better storyteller. Some studies, some composition and value thumbs, some rough vehicle concepts (complete with skewed perspective), and some concepts from the Dark Elf trilogy I'm reading. The pumpkin patch thumb is a color study from Greg Pro's fabricated pumpkin patch. So, that's about it. Thanks for letting me share. Helpful comments are very welcome.

Those're beautiful sketches, especially the ink ones. I love inkwork. The teeny tiny thumbnail environments are lovely, too. Just.... wow! O_o

I.was.ink, Glad you figured it out. No, I graduated from Biola (not an art school) a year ago with a degree in graphic design. You gonna go to Art Center?

Very nice work, the definition in your character sketches and your vehicles is very worthy of mention.

I.was.ink -- I'm also interested in going to Art Center. Are you just now applying? If so, is the application process difficult? I know it's one of the top art schools around, so I'm wondering how difficult it is to get in, and just how good you have to be. Any advice would be appriciated since my application is many years down the road!
