Dude, this rocks. I remember seeing your sketch, and man your friend bloom is an excellent artist. I checked out his site, and I like his dark and moody style. The only thing I suggest is more contrast on the main character, so that we focus on him more. Great job!

BTW, is bloom going to illustrate the rest of your sketches?
