clouds are nice but I miss the "wow-effect".

"little wood thing" looks interesting but the composition is not the best...

forget "crooked features" that looks just blurry!

Same in the second photo.. Weird settings means a long exposure. If you don't use a tripod here your photos get blurred.

The trees in the dark are too dark for my taste. You should use a tripod here.

last one is okay... unconsciously you did the best composition here ;P

Good start for your age I guess. But you need tko learn what elements make a good picture. Subject - composition - light, these are the most important.

Subject: Try to focus on the subject in the picture, frame it in, move closer, fill the frame. To do this you need to define what your subject is. Most of the pictures youve posted so far lack a definite subject.

Composition: How can you make this subject interesting? Look at it from different angles. You need to convey something with the pic in order to make it interesting. Can you make it more dramatic by using a lower angle? Where do you place the horizon in your picture and how does it affect the impact and mood? Do you find the image more pleasing when centering the subject or does it look better slightly off center?

Light: The last thing and probably the most important is the lighting of your scene, because thats what you capturing. Try to notice how it affects your pictures in terms of mood and impact etc.

Good luck.

Did you use a flash behind a windows when you shot the clouds? The left corner in the top is very distracting... But the clouds are still nice.
(tip: NEVER use a flash when you are shooting photos behind a window!)

Okay, I want to get back at photos, I am trying to get back at everything.

I am looking for a new camera, I was thinking of a Canon PowerShot sx 100.

I really need some help finding a camera before friday! Is there any good cameras under a 350 or 400 dollars range?

edit* this might be obnoxious since I am bumping an over a year old topic. Haha I wrote that last message on my bday! Haha! Well please the camera sticky hasn't gotten many replies, so please help me out, I have posted in 4 forums already... Not very good replies.

here is a link to the canon webpage of the sx 100
