Well, hello guys. This is my 1st time I´m posting something of my stuff into this forum, and I´m really afraid of this, because the standard is so high.
So to introduce myself, I´m 16years old, living in Germany and painting and sektching seriously since about 2 month.

This here is my 3rd picture I´m doing seriously (means sitting on it more than an 1 hour) and my 1st without references. I know it´s not as good as others here, but like to have some feedback. pencil drawing and after that ps about an 1h, and well its still WIP

1st one is an refpic by an artist called seegmiller. colored it in ps in 2-3h.

It looks promising, certainly if you're only at it fot 2 moths.

Here are some things I thoight while looking at this image.

Try to get more depth in it. Right now it looks like the figure is really huge and about to step on the castle/church. Use darker colors for things that further away.

Add more contrast and shadows. It's all very soft now.

Allthough I like the abstractness of the character as it is some research in anatomy is always helpfull.

thx for the comment. thought you wanted to spare me, cause the pictures look so bad. Well, I got kind of the critic in another forum and I´m going to work on it when I have time to add more contrast and depth. you will hear s.th. from me next time.

2nd try: added some more shadows and highlights, shadowed the deep water to get it more water-like. Well, but I think it still doesnt look good. what can i change?
