17 July 2011: Quit my daily job finally...and keep drawing...

02 Mac 2011 : I am back!

Year 2006 : I am trying to force myself to learn faster & draw more in a logical thinking..
Hopefully i can improve alot of my weakness asap too.
(N get a job dat i can learn from the expert too. Kinda lonely to draw alone all these years...hoho..)

This is a place that remind me every min bout improving myself in everything.

I am gonna be fine here, rite?!

Still cannot fully understand how to paint over a B&W based color.

Dinodog, looking good so-far. try greyscaling a painting, select a piece of the painting and copy the selection and paste it into another layer.
take that piece you selected and in image>adjustments>hue/saturation click the colorize checkbox and mess around with the slider. This will help you turn the piece into a color piece and start training your eye to glaze your grey with color.
Hope this helps and makes sense.

A Chopper helmet's lady?!

A weird dinosaur skeleton.. I dun mean to draw a corpse. I just couldn't make it the way it should looks like. It was suppose to be a view under the dino under a strong sunlight. Beat it man!

Waoh..since November i seldom seriously polish my painting technique. Feel guilthy..I am back on the track to learn more efficiency painting ways.
Most probably Massive Black haf drop by to SG give me a really big boost.

thx for dropping by guys.(hee..it's been 2 months away). Anyway, i am surfing in this forum almost 24 hours.

About the artwork,
I only drew Jaguar(yesterday) & Warrior(today). Two version of warriror, repainted the face to make it looks more realistic. Getting back into Anatomy drawing.

THe Bot should be done last week.
The helmet in purple bluish was done sometime around year 2007?!..haha..:wink:

Sorry for not updating this sketches. I was more bz in studying from others great works. Maybe too addict to look at the others than what i suppose to do.

hey crisis.. nice to see u here~!...thx for liking the lady. I seldom draw lady. Perhaps i should say human being.

Gonna memorise the lady figure into my mindset before i damage the lady's beauty.

i tried to draw a male nude wif my present own understanding anatomy.
Well.. goin for more memorise now.

I oso finished a monster without intention.Guess i learnt something in myself again. done within 1 & half hour right away. Consider fast compare to my previous speed.

some studies to find ways to paint faster & efficiency.

The futuristic environment was a study from the Korean great artist called "Paperblue". I am goin to study alot of his fantastic image. It is so crucial to achieve the standard like him.. Haha. Hope someone wouldn't mind to show me the way.

The desert Hill is drawing from mind. So, it seems ok. The pro is it is time consuming. And doesn't closer to realistic atmosphere.

The Volcano was added after drew the Kong which suppose to be painting study. The Kong anatomy is all wrong. haha. At least i am quite satisfy wif the speed i finish this overall image.

The disgusting freakin thing. I was using more airbrush to paint it. It can make painting much easier to achieve realistic effects. Somehow, the whole image looking cloudy & blurry. Aiks.. need to find a way to use it & balancing between Airbrush & hard-edge brush.

I finally found some comfortable way to blend the colors.. thx to dan liimatta biggest tip. gosh, i was painting in my way for two years in the hardcore way.
Painting until my shoulder & arms always have some pain.

Neva tot the Brush setting can push out so much potential.

Some recent studies.

'cyclops' was a failure painting. Took hours & end up like shit.

'Gunman'.. Sux. haha.

'Sub-Bot' took me quite a few days to complete. It was translated from a rough scribbles. Hope u guys like it. A Long time no doin detail rendering.

'Pink Flower' was a study to paint at 100% opacity & flow. It is fine.

Today, i managed to tweak the brush setting which allow me to paint at 100% opacity & flow.
'Grey' is my today work. Neva paint so fast wif good rendering.

So happy.. so suffering for almost 2 years~... argh!.

I was trying to design two characters within a day. Too bad, it's been very hard to me. My brain getting tired, eyes shut down...

Need to find faster way to paint nicer. And getting back more anatomy sketching wif pencil. This really help me how to color effiency.

Hopefully i can gain back the motivation. It is so easily to lose it. Darnit!.

the Ninjitsu is actually holding a machine gun which got a slot for his blade.Yet i haven't see any design like this b4. Ohh.. he is putting back his blade back to the slot.

woah you upload a lot of really cool stuff here, nice style...i love this organic giger-thing, i hope sometimes you find back to this routes.
i lauget so hard about your thief-pic, this hand-thing is a great idea.

sometimes, i miss the context of your drawings, i see a guy underwater, but nothing he interacts whit, hope you know what i want to tell you.
