oil painting (update)

heres up update .. i made the composition not so centered. added some space to all around it and some scribbled text on the wall.. which should be more interesting in the painting as i can scratch it in. i also took the brushes out of my hand... people can interpret it as they want.

I think you should emphasize the pencils/brushes on the left side. if this is supposed to be bbrushes

yeah in this pic i had taken the brushes out completely. in my old post they were in there.. still havent decided if im going to put them in or not.

I would do so. make them so sublte that people who look at the picture really have to look carefully!

I really like this. I think it could do with some focusing or details in SOME places, just a little to focus your eye. I know it's WIP though. I'm FEELIN' the blood/paint on the wall. :chug:

yeah i wanna sharpen up alot of places on the body... where alot of the focus is. ill post up pics of the actual oil painting as its being produced... thanks though. yeah i dig the blood / paint too. heh

I agree with Kress. But I really liked the brushes in his hand, kinda like it could either be paint, or he just stabbed him self in the stomach with the brushes cuz of his struggles with painting, so its paint and blood mixed together. o00ooh! that sounds cool! :cool:
